Job Description:
The Bioinstrumentation Engineer in Al Ain will design and develop biomedical devices and electronic instrumentation systems that interface with the human body for diagnosis, therapy, or monitoring purposes. This role involves integrating electronics, sensors, signal processing, and software to develop medical equipment such as ECG monitors, wearable biosensors, imaging systems, and automated diagnostic tools. Responsibilities include hardware and sensor selection, circuit design, data acquisition system development, calibration procedures, and safety validation. The engineer will work closely with clinicians, biomedical researchers, and regulatory teams to ensure that designs are safe, biocompatible, and compliant with standards like ISO 60601 or FDA Class I/II requirements. Additional duties involve contributing to software and firmware integration for device functionality, managing clinical data input/output pathways, and supporting prototypes through clinical trials and pilot production.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or instrumentation engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in bioinstrumentation or medical device development. Knowledge of biosignals (EEG, EMG, ECG), sensor integration, analog signal processing, and regulatory documentation is essential. Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or biomedical simulation tools is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
