Job Description: As an Airfield Operator Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily operations and maintenance of an airfield. You will work under the guidance of senior airfield operators to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the airfield. Your role will involve performing various tasks such as inspecting runways, taxiways, and aprons for damage or debris, conducting wildlife hazard management activities, and maintaining airfield lighting systems. You will also assist in coordinating airfield operations with ground and flight crews, monitoring weather conditions, and responding to emergencies or incidents. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are crucial for success in this role.

Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in aviation or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of airfield operations and safety regulations is an advantage. Strong attention to detail to identify and report any airfield hazards or concerns. Effective communication skills to interact with team members, pilots, and ground personnel. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with airfield maintenance equipment and tools. Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve information from airfield operation systems. Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for airfield operations. Willingness to undergo training and obtain necessary certifications as required.
