Job Description:

The Auto Service Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an automotive service facility in Montreal, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising technicians and service advisors, managing workflow, coordinating parts and inventory, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key duties include monitoring service schedules, setting performance targets, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring all vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services meet industry standards. The manager also oversees staff training, budgets, vendor relations, and ensures proper documentation for warranties and service records. A strong grasp of both technical and managerial aspects of automotive services is essential for this position.

This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for operational detail, playing a crucial part in the service center's reputation and profitability.

Job Requirement:

Education: Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or related field.

Experience: 4–6 years in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills:

Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills.

In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

Budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management capabilities.

Familiarity with service management systems (e.g., Mitchell, RO Writer).

Language: Proficiency in French is required; bilingual in English is highly preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to motivate staff and resolve conflicts effectively.
