Job Description:
The Automotive Assembly Operator in Toronto is responsible for assembling vehicles or their subcomponents on a high-volume production line. This role involves following standardized work procedures to install mechanical, electrical, and structural components in accordance with engineering specifications. Key tasks include attaching body panels, securing powertrain systems, routing wiring harnesses, and verifying proper fit and function through visual checks and functional testing.
Operators work with pneumatic and hand tools, lifting devices, and robotic machinery while ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. The job demands close attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Operators contribute to process improvement by identifying inefficiencies or quality concerns and collaborating with team leaders and maintenance staff.

Job Requirement:
Education: Minimum high school diploma; trade school or manufacturing training preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years in vehicle assembly or industrial production roles.
Skills:
Familiarity with automotive components and assembly tools.
Ability to follow work instructions and quality control processes.
Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination.
Capable of working on a timed assembly line with minimal supervision.
Language: Functional English required for reading instructions and communication.
