Job Description:

The Automotive Assembly Line Worker in Toronto plays a vital role in the mass production of vehicles by performing precise, repetitive tasks on a manufacturing line. Working in one of the city's major automotive manufacturing facilities, the worker assembles vehicle components such as engines, chassis, doors, and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and automated machinery.

Key duties include positioning and securing parts, conducting visual inspections for defects, installing mechanical or electrical units, and ensuring components meet strict quality standards. Workers rotate between tasks to support production efficiency and prevent strain injuries. They also follow safety procedures, wear protective gear, and communicate any mechanical issues or production delays to supervisors.

Given Toronto’s prominence in Canada’s automotive industry, this role supports the timely delivery of vehicles to domestic and international markets. Precision, teamwork, and endurance are critical to success in this fast-paced environment.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in manufacturing or automotive trades is an asset.

Experience: 1–2 years in manufacturing or assembly line work preferred, though entry-level candidates are also considered.

Skills:

Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive, fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.

Language: English communication skills required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.

Other Requirements:

Physically able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company protocols.

Punctuality and reliability.
