Job Description:
The Back Kitchen Porter in Ottawa supports the kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and proper equipment handling in the back-of-house area. Key responsibilities include cleaning kitchen surfaces, walls, floors, and equipment; unloading and organizing deliveries; and ensuring all kitchen tools and supplies are sanitized and stored properly. The porter also assists chefs by transporting ingredients, disposing of waste, and maintaining a hygienic working environment. Job Requirement:
No formal education required; high school diploma an asset
Previous experience in a kitchen or janitorial role is an advantage
