Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. As a Bartender in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. Ensure accuracy in measurements, ingredient quality, and presentation. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, engaging with customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the beverage menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and proper glassware. Educate customers about different beverages and make recommendations based on their preferences. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including barware, equipment, and supplies. Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper sanitation practices. Upselling and Revenue Generation: Proactively suggest additional beverages, promotions, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience. Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain a balanced cash drawer. Follow proper cash-handling procedures and maintain accuracy in recording sales. Teamwork: Collaborate with other members of the bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment. Assist colleagues when needed and support the overall guest experience.

Job Requirement: Experience: Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry. Familiarity with a variety of beverages, mixing techniques, and bartending equipment. Beverage Knowledge: Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits. Understanding of flavor profiles, garnishes, and appropriate serving techniques. Customer-Oriented: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of guests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive and engaging experience. Mixology Skills: Proficient in creating classic and creative cocktails, as well as pouring beers and serving wines. Knowledge of mixology techniques and the ability to experiment with new recipes. Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Maintain efficiency and accuracy during busy periods while ensuring customer satisfaction. Cash Handling: Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing accurate change. Positive Attitude: Friendly, outgoing, and personable demeanor. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during peak business hours.
