Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team in London, Canada. As an Event Coordinator in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, you will play a key role in planning and executing a wide range of events, ensuring exceptional experiences for our clients and guests. Responsibilities: Event Planning: Coordinate all aspects of events, including conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, develop event concepts, and create detailed plans. Vendor Management: Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, such as venues, caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers. Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service. Logistics and Operations: Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations. Develop event timelines, coordinate schedules, and manage on-site operations. Budgeting and Financial Management: Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions. Monitor financial aspects, maximize revenue opportunities, and control expenses. Client Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service. Understand client expectations, address inquiries and concerns, and provide timely updates. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, collect feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Use insights to enhance future event planning and exceed client expectations.

Job Requirement: Experience: Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry. Solid understanding of event planning, logistics, and execution. Organization Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial for flawless event execution. Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members. Negotiation skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges, adapt to changes, and find innovative solutions during event planning and execution. Team Player: Collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environment, partnering with event staff, vendors, and clients to achieve outstanding results.
