Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Guest Services Coordinator to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Guest Services Coordinator in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities: Guest Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints. Reservation Management: Handle guest reservations, including room bookings, cancellations, and modifications. Maintain accurate records and communicate reservation details to the appropriate departments. Front Desk Support: Assist with front desk operations, including answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing guests to the appropriate areas. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Communication and Coordination: Liaise with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure guest needs are met. Coordinate special requests and ensure timely delivery. Concierge Services: Provide recommendations and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and entertainment options. Arrange for transportation or bookings upon request. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as handling mail, managing paperwork, and maintaining guest records. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of guest information. Guest Feedback: Collect and document guest feedback and reviews. Use guest feedback to improve services and address any issues or concerns.
Job Requirement: Experience: Prior experience in a guest services or customer service role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry is preferred. Familiarity with hotel operations and reservation systems is an asset. Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience to guests, anticipate their needs, and handle guest complaints or inquiries professionally. Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple guest requests and administrative tasks efficiently. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
