Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Manager to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As an Event Manager in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring their success and exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities: Event Planning: Oversee all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, and vendor management. Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop customized event concepts. Vendor Coordination: Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and audiovisual providers. Ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of services. Team Leadership: Lead and manage event staff, including event coordinators, technicians, and support personnel. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective teamwork throughout the event planning and execution process. Financial Management: Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue opportunities. Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining high-quality standards. Guest Experience: Create exceptional guest experiences by overseeing event operations, including registration, seating arrangements, catering, and entertainment. Job Requirement: Experience: Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry. Strong understanding of event planning, logistics, and execution is essential.
