Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Chef in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and delicious meals to our guests. Responsibilities: Menu Planning: Create and develop menus that reflect the culinary vision and meet the preferences of our customers. Incorporate fresh and seasonal ingredients to enhance the dining experience. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring they are executed with precision and consistency. Monitor portion sizes, presentation, and taste to maintain quality standards. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants. Provide guidance and training to maintain an efficient and productive kitchen environment. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track food supplies, and place orders to ensure adequate stock. Minimize waste and control costs while maintaining quality and freshness. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Conduct regular inspections, address any issues, and implement corrective actions. Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Monitor proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items. Culinary Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging ingredients. Continuously explore and introduce innovative flavors and cooking methods.

Job Requirement: Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, with a solid foundation in culinary techniques and kitchen operations. Knowledge of diverse cooking styles and cuisines. Creativity and Attention to Detail: Demonstrated creativity in menu planning, flavor combinations, and plate presentation. Strong attention to detail to maintain consistency and quality. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development. Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
