Job Description:
The Business Facility Cleaner in Quebec City is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in corporate buildings, office complexes, and business centers. This role ensures that shared spaces such as lobbies, meeting rooms, break areas, restrooms, and workstations remain tidy, disinfected, and presentable at all times.
Key responsibilities include vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture and fixtures, sanitizing desks and common touchpoints, mopping hard floors, removing trash and recyclables, and restocking restroom supplies. Cleaners may also perform periodic deep cleaning tasks such as window washing, carpet shampooing, or disinfection of high-traffic areas. They may coordinate with facility managers to report maintenance issues or supply shortages.
The role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to cleaning schedules without disrupting regular office operations. Cleaners often work early mornings or after business hours.
Job Requirement:
Education: No formal education required; secondary school completion is an asset.
Experience: Prior experience in commercial or office cleaning preferred (1–2 years).
Skills:
Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
Familiarity with workplace hygiene standards and safety protocols.
Ability to follow checklists and maintain cleaning logs.
Basic problem-solving and initiative for minor maintenance issues.
Strong time management and organization skills.
