Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing & Quality Manager to join our team in London, Canada. As a Manufacturing & Quality Manager in the science and pharmaceutical industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and compliant manufacturing processes and maintaining high-quality standards. Your expertise in manufacturing operations, quality control, and team management will contribute to the success of our organization. Responsibilities: Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Lead and manage a team of manufacturing and quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless product transfer and launch. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address any deviations, non-conformities, or improvement opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline. Advanced degree (M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent) is preferred. Proven experience in manufacturing and quality management, preferably in the science and pharmaceutical industry. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
