Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Halifax, Canada. As a Project Manager in the science and pharmaceutical industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of research and development projects. Your strong project management skills, scientific knowledge, and leadership abilities will be essential in ensuring project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. Responsibilities: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including scientists, researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Develop and implement project plans, defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues. Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear understanding of project goals. Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation to provide updates and insights to senior management.
Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or a related field. Advanced degree (M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent) is preferred. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the science and pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding of scientific research and development processes. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources. Proficient in using project management tools and software. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
