Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Food Technologist to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Food Technologist in the science and pharmaceutical industry, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving food products, ensuring their safety, quality, and compliance with regulations. Your expertise in food science, product development, and quality control will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers. Responsibilities: Conduct research and experiments to develop new food products, considering factors such as taste, texture, nutritional value, and shelf life. Evaluate and improve existing food products through formulation adjustments and process optimization. Conduct sensory evaluations and taste tests to ensure products meet desired standards and consumer preferences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including food scientists, researchers, and quality control professionals, to ensure product compliance and successful launches. Perform quality control tests, analyze data, and interpret results to ensure products meet safety and quality standards. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in food technology to contribute to innovative solutions.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Food Technologist, preferably in the science and pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of food science principles, product development, and quality control. Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry standards. Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation used in food analysis. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
