Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Halifax, Canada. As a Laboratory Technician in the science and pharmaceutical industry, you will play a vital role in conducting laboratory experiments, performing tests, and assisting with research activities. Your expertise in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our scientific endeavors. Responsibilities: Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instruments for experiments and tests. Perform laboratory experiments and tests following standard operating procedures and protocols. Collect, analyze, and record data accurately, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety guidelines. Maintain laboratory supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and calibration. Assist in the development and optimization of laboratory techniques and procedures. Collaborate with scientists and researchers to support research projects and achieve project goals. Maintain accurate records, compile data, and prepare reports or presentations.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree or diploma in a scientific discipline, such as Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Laboratory Technician, preferably in the science and pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Proficiency in data analysis software and tools commonly used in scientific research. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and follow protocols. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
