Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Pharmacy Technician in the science and pharmaceutical industry, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Your expertise in pharmaceutical practices, medication management, and attention to detail will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our pharmacy. Responsibilities: Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies. Prepare and package medications for dispensing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, medication information, and insurance claims. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication therapy management. Maintain pharmacy equipment and work areas, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Follow regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical practices and patient confidentiality.

Job Requirement: Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution. Current registration or licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Canada. Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication names, and dosage forms. Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and dispensing technology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
