Job Description:
The Vehicle Cleaning Technician is responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitation of various types of vehicles, including public transit buses, delivery trucks, emergency vehicles, and company fleets across Montreal. This role ensures that vehicles are not only visually clean but also sanitized for health and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities include pressure washing exteriors, vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows, disinfecting high-contact surfaces, and restocking supplies (e.g., hand sanitizer, tissue, waste bags). Technicians may also handle specialized tasks such as removing biohazards or applying protective coatings.
This job involves working in garages, depots, or on-site in all weather conditions. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to follow safety protocols, and capable of working independently or as part of a maintenance team. Adherence to municipal cleanliness regulations and company service standards is essential.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in auto or industrial cleaning is an asset.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of vehicle interiors and cleaning methods.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers, steamers).
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Attention to sanitation, especially in high-use transport vehicles.
Language: Basic French required; English an asset.

Must be physically fit and comfortable working in confined vehicle spaces.
