We are seeking an Academic Advisor to support student success through individualized academic guidance, program selection assistance, and progress monitoring. You will provide one-on-one consultations, help students align their goals with academic pathways, and resolve scheduling or course-related issues. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive learning environment while staying updated on institutional policies, course offerings, and student development practices.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Psychology, or related field
2+ years of experience in student advising or support services
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with higher education systems and credit structures
Ability to interpret academic regulations and graduation requirements
Proficiency in student management systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft)
Organized and detail-oriented with a student-centered approach
Capable of handling confidential information with discretion
Strong verbal and written communication skills
