Job Description:

We are hiring an Apparel Presentation Technician to join our textile merchandising and display team in Berlin. This role focuses on preparing garments for visual presentation, ensuring that each item is properly steamed, shaped, folded, or mounted to meet retail display standards before reaching store floors or showroom environments.

Key duties include steaming or pressing garments to remove wrinkles, arranging apparel on mannequins or hangers, applying display accessories like pins or clips, and coordinating with the visual merchandising team to maintain product aesthetics. The technician may also support photography setups by styling items for promotional shoots.

This position requires a strong eye for detail and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of garment structure and visual appeal, as their work directly affects how the brand is perceived by customers.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should have completed secondary education, with a background in visual merchandising, fashion retail, or garment presentation considered a strong asset. At least 2 years of experience in a retail display or backroom garment preparation setting is preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with garment steamers, irons, and basic display tools. Attention to fabric handling techniques is essential to avoid damaging materials. An understanding of brand aesthetics and color coordination will be beneficial.

Applicants should be physically fit, as the job may require standing for long periods, lifting garment racks, and maneuvering mannequins. A strong sense of neatness, cleanliness, and organization is key to success.

Effective communication in German or English is important for interpreting display instructions and coordinating with team members across merchandising and logistics departments.
