This role is essential in the assembly and construction of garments from pre-cut fabric components, ensuring each item meets specified quality and design standards. The technician plays a crucial part in turning raw materials into finished clothing products.

Key responsibilities include aligning and joining fabric pieces using various methods such as sewing, bonding, and trimming. The technician must operate industrial sewing machines, overlockers, and pressing tools while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Additional tasks include inspecting components for defects, following technical design specifications, and collaborating with the quality assurance team to meet production goals.

This role requires a high level of precision, good hand-eye coordination, and a clear understanding of garment construction techniques.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a vocational qualification or diploma in garment construction, tailoring, or textile manufacturing. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in clothing assembly or a related garment production role is required.

Applicants must be proficient in using industrial sewing and finishing machines. A solid understanding of stitching techniques, fabric behavior, and pattern alignment is essential. The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is highly desirable.

The role demands manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily production targets. Time management skills, teamwork, and a strong focus on quality control are key to success. Basic proficiency in German or English is helpful for reading instructions and communicating with team members.
