Job Description:

We are hiring an Apparel Sewing Technician to join our dynamic production team in Berlin. This role focuses on operating industrial sewing machines to assemble garments with precision and efficiency. The technician will be responsible for stitching different parts of clothing according to pattern specifications and quality standards, ensuring consistency in seams, finishes, and overall craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in various sewing techniques, including lockstitch, overlock, and blind stitch, and be comfortable handling different fabric types, from light cotton to heavy denim. Daily responsibilities include checking fabric pieces before sewing, adjusting machine settings, and troubleshooting basic machine issues.

This position demands attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality apparel for both retail and commercial clients. Team collaboration is essential, and the technician will be expected to meet daily targets while upholding safety protocols. Experience with high-volume production lines will be considered a strong asset.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should have completed vocational training in textile or garment manufacturing or possess equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating industrial sewing machines is required, preferably within a high-volume production setting.

Candidates must be proficient in handling different stitching techniques and working with various types of materials and garment components. A working knowledge of machine maintenance and minor adjustments is expected to maintain production flow without frequent interruptions.

Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow garment construction plans or templates accurately are essential. Candidates should be capable of reading basic garment blueprints or instructions and adhering to safety regulations.

Basic understanding of quality control processes, the ability to meet tight production deadlines, and a flexible approach to shift work are important. Strong teamwork, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining productivity and efficiency are required.
