Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Cloth Laying Technician to join our textile manufacturing team in Frankfurt am Main. This role is vital for preparing fabric layers before the cutting process, ensuring accurate alignment, smoothness, and quality control. The technician will handle the spreading of fabric rolls onto cutting tables, maintaining consistency and preventing defects such as wrinkles, folds, or tension issues.

Responsibilities include setting up fabric rolls, spreading and layering cloth according to production requirements, checking for defects, and coordinating with cutting and production teams to meet daily targets. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards throughout the fabric laying process.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and experienced in fabric handling techniques. Precision and efficiency are key to minimizing material waste and supporting overall production quality.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a structured manufacturing environment focused on teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have at least 1–3 years of experience in fabric handling, spreading, or related textile manufacturing roles. Experience with different fabric types such as cotton, synthetics, and blends is advantageous.

Applicants must possess good manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to work standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of textile defects, fabric properties, and cutting preparation is essential.

The role requires attention to detail to detect fabric flaws and ensure smooth, wrinkle-free spreading. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with cutting operators and production supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency.

Good communication skills and adherence to workplace safety protocols are important. Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime during busy periods will be required.

The ability to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow instructions precisely, and contribute to a positive team environment is expected.
