Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Arc Welder to join our industrial fabrication team in Frankfurt am Main. In this position, you will be responsible for welding metal components together using manual or semi-automatic arc welding equipment. Your primary tasks will include reading blueprints, interpreting welding symbols, preparing metal surfaces, and performing precise welds according to engineering specifications.
You will be expected to work with a variety of materials, such as steel and iron, and utilize techniques like shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). Additionally, you will conduct inspections to ensure weld integrity and compliance with quality standards, as well as assist in maintaining welding equipment and adhering to all workplace safety protocols. This role is ideal for a professional welder looking to contribute to high-quality structural and industrial projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have completed vocational training or certification in welding technology. A minimum of 2 years of experience in arc welding within an industrial or construction setting is essential. Candidates should be proficient in using various welding tools, possess a thorough understanding of welding techniques, and be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Physical strength, stamina, and good hand-eye coordination are necessary for this physically demanding role. Familiarity with safety standards, personal protective equipment (PPE), and material handling procedures is critical. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime or shifts and willingness to undergo routine skill assessments are also expected. Knowledge of German is advantageous for workplace communication and documentation.
