Job Description:
We are seeking an Automation Control Engineer to design and implement control systems that enhance the efficiency and reliability of industrial automation processes. This role involves developing control architectures, writing PLC and HMI code, integrating sensors and actuators, and troubleshooting system malfunctions. You will work with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration and process optimization. Responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, participating in FAT/SAT, and supporting ongoing improvements through data-driven analysis and remote diagnostics.
Job Requirement:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation systems. Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA development, and fieldbus protocols (PROFINET, Modbus, etc.) is required. Experience with safety PLCs and system validation per IEC/EN standards is highly valued. Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German is preferred.
