Job Description:

We are seeking a CAD Design Specialist to join our marine engineering design team in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves developing high-precision 2D and 3D CAD models for ship structures, marine components, and onboard systems. The specialist will be responsible for converting conceptual and engineering inputs into production-ready technical drawings, ensuring all designs comply with marine safety regulations and technical specifications. You will collaborate with engineers, naval architects, and production planners to refine and optimize design layouts. The role also includes maintaining drawing archives, performing tolerance analysis, and integrating revisions throughout project lifecycles.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in mechanical design, marine engineering, or a similar discipline. Proficiency in CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo is essential, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of marine structural components and familiarity with shipbuilding standards are highly preferred. Attention to technical detail, documentation accuracy, and version control practices are critical. Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving design challenges are necessary. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
