Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and organized Backstock Room Worker to join our retail support team in Cologne. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining order and efficiency in the backstock area, where surplus inventory is stored before being moved to the sales floor. Your work will directly support timely product availability and smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities include sorting and categorizing incoming stock, ensuring items are labeled correctly, and arranging them in the designated storage areas. You will also assist with retrieving products for floor replenishment, tracking stock levels, and coordinating with the inventory team for restocking schedules.

This physically active role requires consistent attention to cleanliness and safety standards within the backstock room. You will help prepare for inventory checks, assist in stock rotation based on expiry or seasonality, and report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should have prior experience in stockroom or warehouse environments, with familiarity in organizing and handling inventory. Physical fitness is essential as the role involves lifting boxes, bending, and standing for long periods.

You must demonstrate a methodical approach to organizing goods and maintaining stock order. Basic understanding of inventory systems or scanning tools is a plus. Attention to detail and reliability are key traits.

Proficiency in German is required for reading labels, following safety instructions, and communicating with team members. Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed is expected.
