Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician in Munich to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices and laboratory equipment. You will ensure the reliability and safety of biomedical equipment used for diagnostics, treatment, and research.
Your duties include conducting routine preventive maintenance, calibrating devices, responding to equipment malfunctions, and coordinating with manufacturers for repairs or upgrades. You will document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory safety standards.
This role is critical in supporting healthcare and research teams by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring device performance. It requires technical expertise and problem-solving skills within a regulated environment.
Job Requirement:
Technical diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device maintenance
Knowledge of medical device regulations and safety standards
Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Good communication skills in English and German
Experience with hospital or clinical environments preferred
