You will work with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, and manufacturing to optimize fermentation, purification, and cell culture systems. Daily responsibilities involve monitoring bioreactors, troubleshooting process bottlenecks, and documenting process parameters and deviations.

You will play a key role in developing innovative process workflows for monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and gene therapy vectors. Your input will guide critical decisions in manufacturing and help deliver products to patients faster and more efficiently.

This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, scientifically rigorous, and passionate about biologics production and process improvement.

Job Requirement:

  • Master’s or PhD in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with bioprocess scale-up and validation

  • Proficient in upstream (fermentation, cell culture) and downstream (chromatography, filtration) operations

  • Strong familiarity with GMP environments and regulatory expectations

  • Experience with disposable systems, single-use bioreactors, and PAT tools

  • Capable of designing and analyzing DOE (Design of Experiments) studies

  • Effective communicator with strong documentation and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with equipment such as bioreactors (1L–2000L), TFF systems, and HPLC

  • Able to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage
