Job Description:
We are hiring a visionary Chief Legal Officer (CLO) for our Frankfurt headquarters to lead the legal function and manage risk exposure at the executive level. The CLO will be responsible for the company’s legal strategy, compliance oversight, and litigation management. This includes handling mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the CLO will provide sound legal advice to the board and executive management on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues. You will lead and mentor a team of in-house attorneys and coordinate closely with external counsel on complex legal transactions and disputes.
Job Requirement:
A Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree with 10+ years of progressive legal leadership experience is required. You should have proven expertise in corporate and commercial law, regulatory frameworks, and international legal operations.
Strong leadership and strategic decision-making skills are essential. Prior experience in a general counsel or CLO role within a multinational company is highly preferred. Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
