Job Description:
We are looking for a Consumer Rights Attorney to represent and advise clients on matters involving product liability, consumer fraud, unfair business practices, and data protection violations. You will litigate cases, draft legal complaints, and engage with regulatory bodies regarding breaches of consumer laws and e-commerce standards.
You will also advise organizations on consumer protection compliance under EU directives and local German law, while contributing to class action suits or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Job Requirement:
A degree in law with specialization in consumer law, commercial law, or litigation is essential. Candidates should have at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in consumer protection law or commercial litigation.
Knowledge of EU Consumer Rights Directive, BGB provisions on consumer contracts, and German e-commerce regulations is expected. Fluency in German and English is required, along with strong research, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Experience working with advocacy groups or regulatory authorities is a plus.
