We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our shipbuilding operations in Hamburg. This role entails the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical equipment and systems used in marine vessels and shipyard machinery. You will work on power generation systems, motor controls, automation systems, and electrical safety devices critical for vessel operation and shipyard production.
Your responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with maritime and industrial electrical standards. Collaboration with engineering teams and adherence to safety protocols in shipyards and offshore environments are crucial.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should possess a vocational certification or diploma in electrical technology or marine electrical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with marine electrical regulations, heavy electrical machinery, control systems, and industrial automation is required. Skills in wiring, circuit testing, and preventive maintenance are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work under pressure are important. Proficiency in English is required; German language skills will be an asset.
