Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Technician / Molding Machine Specialist to join our plastics manufacturing operations in Munich. This position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines to produce precision plastic components used in automotive, medical, and consumer goods industries.
Responsibilities include preparing molds, adjusting process parameters, monitoring production cycles, and inspecting finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy. The technician must also perform mold changes, resolve processing issues, and coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to maintain continuous and efficient operations.
This role demands a deep understanding of injection molding processes, machinery, and materials. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to safety and productivity are essential. Candidates will play a key role in ensuring product consistency and timely delivery.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have completed formal training in plastics technology, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in injection molding operations is essential.
Applicants must possess knowledge of mold setup, troubleshooting, thermoplastic materials, and processing parameters. Experience with automated and semi-automated molding systems is an advantage.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measurement instruments is required. Strong mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure are also important.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, capable of working both independently and in a team, and able to follow all safety and quality standards rigorously.
