Candidates for the Sourcing Manager position in Rome, Italy must meet the following requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within consulting, manufacturing, or corporate environments.
Strategic Sourcing Skills: Strong expertise in supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization strategies. Experience managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to assess market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to make informed sourcing decisions. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required.
Communication Skills: Fluent English communication skills are mandatory; proficiency in Italian is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Work Authorization: Must have legal authorization to work in Italy and be willing to work onsite in Rome.
