Job Description:
Key responsibilities include responding to fire emergencies near or within construction zones, performing controlled burns to prevent wildfire spread, and maintaining fire lines using manual and mechanical tools. The firefighter will also conduct fire risk assessments, inspect construction sites for fire hazards, and implement safety protocols in coordination with site managers and safety officers.
The ideal candidate must be capable of working in extreme conditions, wearing heavy protective gear, and operating firefighting equipment such as hoses, pumps, and water tanks. Additionally, the role may involve training workers in fire safety and evacuation procedures.
Candidates should possess strong teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills. Prior experience in firefighting or emergency response—especially in wildland or industrial settings—is preferred.
