Job Description:
The Agricultural Climate Control Technician in Al Ahmadi is responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring systems that regulate environmental conditions in agricultural facilities such as greenhouses, aquaculture tanks, or storage units. This role involves operating climate control technologies, including ventilation systems, heating and cooling equipment, humidifiers, and sensors, to create optimal conditions for plant growth, livestock welfare, and product storage. The technician ensures precise temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels, and air circulation are maintained according to the specific needs of crops or aquatic species. Daily tasks include conducting equipment inspections, calibrating control systems, troubleshooting faults, and making repairs or adjustments to ensure efficient operation. The technician may also assist in data logging and reporting environmental trends to farm supervisors to inform growing strategies. This position is critical to enhancing productivity and reducing crop loss due to environmental fluctuations.
