The Chief Legal Officer (CLO) in Hawally leads the legal function of the organization, ensuring legal soundness of strategic decisions. The CLO advises the board and executive team on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and litigation strategy. Responsibilities include leading legal teams, managing external counsel, ensuring contract integrity, and implementing legal policies. The CLO plays a critical role in M&A activities, dispute resolution, ethics, and corporate integrity.
Job Requirement:
A law degree with 10+ years of experience in corporate legal practice is required. Proven leadership in legal strategy, team management, and corporate governance is essential. Board-level advisory, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management skills are needed. Strategic vision, high ethical standards, and stakeholder influence are critical. Multinational or cross-border experience is highly valued. Arabic and English fluency is necessary.
