Job Description:

The Industrial Millwright in Hawally is responsible for installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing machinery and heavy mechanical equipment in manufacturing plants and construction sites. This skilled trade role requires precision work in positioning industrial machines such as turbines, generators, conveyors, and hoists. The millwright ensures that machines are correctly aligned and securely mounted for optimal operation.

In addition to installation, the millwright performs inspections and repairs involving bearings, shafts, drive units, gearboxes, and more. Duties include working from blueprints, technical plans, and layout drawings to execute detailed alignment using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and laser alignment systems.

Millwrights often work in confined spaces or at heights and are expected to adhere to safety and structural codes. The role demands collaboration with engineers, riggers, welders, and electricians during machinery setup and teardown processes.

Job Requirement:

  • Trade certification or diploma in industrial mechanics or millwright technology.

  • Minimum 5 years of millwright experience in industrial settings.

  • Strong understanding of equipment alignment, rigging, and precision measurement.

  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematic diagrams, and layout drawings.

  • Skilled in using hand tools, hoists, cranes, jacks, and laser alignment equipment.

  • Experience with installation of heavy machinery and mechanical systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with minimal supervision.

  • Commitment to safe work practices and use of protective gear.

  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging conditions.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to technical detail.
