Job Description:
A Merchant Marine Navigator in Qurain oversees the safe navigation of cargo ships through domestic and international waters. This highly skilled professional ensures that maritime transport adheres to safety regulations, optimizes routes, and delivers goods efficiently across seaports.
The navigator is responsible for planning voyages, updating nautical charts, monitoring weather conditions, and operating navigation systems such as GPS, radar, and sonar. During the journey, they track the vessel’s location, adjust course as needed, and ensure compliance with international maritime laws and shipping regulations. The navigator also supervises the bridge team, maintains logbooks, and coordinates with port authorities.
