Job Description:

The Auto Service Center Manager in Dunedin is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a vehicle maintenance and repair facility, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality service, and customer satisfaction. The manager leads a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff, handling everything from scheduling and job assignment to customer issue resolution and performance evaluation. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, controlling inventory, maintaining safety and environmental compliance, and ensuring adherence to manufacturer service standards. The role involves liaising with suppliers, coordinating training for staff, optimizing labor and parts utilization, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service turnaround time, customer satisfaction scores, and profitability. The Service Center Manager also plays a vital role in driving revenue growth by promoting preventive maintenance services, managing marketing campaigns, and expanding the client base.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in automotive engineering, business administration, or service management, with at least 5–7 years of experience in a senior automotive service role, including prior supervisory experience. Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills are essential. The role demands knowledge of vehicle service procedures, warranty management, workshop efficiency systems, and team training. Familiarity with inventory control systems, CRM tools, and workshop management software is required. Effective communication, conflict resolution skills, and a customer-focused mindset are key. A clean, full driver’s license and the ability to handle operational challenges under pressure are also important.
