Job Description:
The Advertising Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the acquisition of advertising services, media space, and marketing-related supplies in Umm Salal, Qatar. This role ensures that advertising and promotional materials are procured cost-effectively while meeting quality, brand, and campaign objectives.
Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts for media buys and creative services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The specialist coordinates with marketing, finance, and legal departments to support campaign rollouts and maintain budgetary control across multiple advertising initiatives.
The position demands strong negotiation skills, knowledge of advertising channels, and an understanding of local procurement regulations. Attention to detail, budgeting acumen, and experience with vendor performance tracking are essential to succeed in this role.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience: 3–5 years in procurement, preferably in marketing or media purchasing.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
Familiarity with advertising media (print, digital, outdoor, broadcast).
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to evaluate supplier proposals and manage vendor performance.
Financial and budgeting literacy for cost optimization.
Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
