Job Description:
The Anatomical Artist in Al Thakhira, Qatar, is responsible for creating scientifically accurate and artistically rendered illustrations of the human body for educational, research, and medical purposes. This role supports healthcare institutions, medical schools, publishing houses, and museums by visually interpreting internal and external anatomy with exceptional precision.
Key duties include producing detailed drawings and 3D visualizations of organ systems, tissues, skeletal structures, and pathological conditions. These artworks may be used in anatomy textbooks, surgical atlases, digital learning platforms, or museum exhibits. The artist collaborates with medical professionals, researchers, and educators to ensure the anatomical accuracy and educational value of each piece. Deliverables range from hand-drawn sketches to high-resolution digital illustrations and animations.
This position is essential in enhancing medical comprehension and public engagement with health sciences through compelling visual storytelling.
Job Requirement:
Education: Degree in Medical Illustration, Scientific Illustration, Fine Arts with a focus on anatomy, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in anatomical or scientific illustration.
Skills:
Advanced drawing and painting skills, both traditional and digital.
Thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiological systems.
Proficiency in illustration and 3D software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender).
Ability to convert complex anatomical data into visually accessible formats.
Strong attention to detail and scientific accuracy.
Language: English fluency required; Arabic is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Portfolio demonstrating anatomical artwork.
Familiarity with medical or anatomical terminology.
