Job Requirement:

Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in antique furniture restoration, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful restoration projects.
Skills:
Expert proficiency in various woodworking techniques: (e.g., joinery, carving, turning) specific to antique furniture.
In-depth knowledge of historical wood types, veneers, inlays, and finishing materials (e.g., shellac, French polish, wax).
Strong ability to assess damage, identify period-appropriate repairs, and implement conservation-grade treatments.
Meticulous attention to detail and precision in all aspects of restoration, from structural repair to surface finishing.
Familiarity with various hand tools and specialized equipment used in furniture restoration.
