Job Description:
The Architectural Lighting Designer in Umm Salal, Qatar, is responsible for planning and executing creative and functional lighting designs for residential, commercial, cultural, and public spaces. This role bridges architecture and aesthetics by enhancing structural features through well-conceived lighting concepts that consider mood, energy efficiency, and spatial experience.
Core responsibilities include collaborating with architects, interior designers, and engineers to develop lighting plans using technical drawings, 3D models, and lighting simulations. The designer selects fixtures, specifies controls, and ensures designs meet both visual goals and safety regulations. The role also involves site visits for installation oversight and post-installation evaluation.

Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in architectural or commercial lighting design.
Skills:
Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, AGi32, AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong understanding of lighting technologies and building systems.
Creative and technical problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and sustainability practices.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
