Job Description:
The Carton Packing Technician in Umm Salal is responsible for efficiently packaging products into cartons or boxes for shipment and storage. This role supports the production line by ensuring finished goods are packed accurately, securely, and according to quality standards. The technician works closely with production and quality teams to verify product specifications, labels, and packaging materials meet company and regulatory requirements.
Key duties include assembling cartons, packing products with protective materials, sealing packages, and labeling for identification and tracking. The technician also inspects packed goods for damage, maintains clean packing areas, and reports any discrepancies or defects. Operating packing machinery and tools may be required, along with performing routine maintenance and safety checks.
This role demands attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet daily packing targets and delivery schedules.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in packaging, packing, or production line support in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
Skills:
Skilled in manual packing and use of packing tools or machinery.
Good understanding of packaging standards and labeling requirements.
Ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure.
Basic problem-solving skills and ability to identify defects.
Physically able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
Language: Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
