Job Description:
The CNC Machinist in Mesaieed is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications. Working in a high-precision manufacturing environment, the machinist interprets technical drawings, adjusts machine settings, selects appropriate tools, and monitors machining operations to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
Key responsibilities include performing routine machine maintenance, inspecting finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers, and making real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards. The CNC Machinist collaborates with engineers and quality control personnel to resolve issues, reduce production errors, and optimize machining performance.
This role demands strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently. Machinists must also maintain accurate production logs and adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Job Requirement:
Education: Diploma or certification in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience operating CNC lathes, mills, or turning machines in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience with G-code and CNC programming basics.
Ability to use precision measuring tools and interpret tolerances.
Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of materials used in machining such as metals and composites.
Language: Functional proficiency in English is necessary for reading specifications and safety compliance.
