Job Description:
The Hotel Courier Driver in Al Wakrah is responsible for the secure and efficient transportation of important documents, parcels, and lightweight goods between hotel departments, partner businesses, government offices, and client locations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth administrative and guest service operations, particularly when handling time-sensitive deliveries or confidential materials.
Daily tasks include picking up and delivering items according to a set schedule, obtaining signatures upon delivery, and maintaining accurate delivery logs. The courier ensures that all packages are properly stored, protected from damage, and delivered to the correct recipients. The role may also include delivering guest items such as lost-and-found belongings, special requests, or personal packages.
The Hotel Courier Driver represents the hotel's professionalism and must demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with staff, guests, and external clients. The position requires maintaining the delivery vehicle in clean and good working condition, performing routine vehicle checks, and adhering to road safety regulations.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in courier or delivery driving, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
Skills:
Valid Qatari driver’s license for light vehicles.
Strong knowledge of routes in Al Wakrah and surrounding areas.
Basic documentation and recordkeeping ability.
Courteous communication and guest interaction skills.
Reliable time management and organizational skills.
Language: Basic English required; Arabic is beneficial.
Other Requirements:
Punctuality and trustworthiness are essential.
Must be physically fit to load/unload lightweight items.
Ability to follow delivery protocols, confidentiality practices, and safety standards.
