Job Description:
The Residential Interior Designer in Al Khor, Qatar, is responsible for planning, designing, and executing customized interior spaces that enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and comfort of private residences. The designer works closely with homeowners, contractors, and vendors to transform interiors that reflect client preferences, cultural values, and modern design principles.
Key responsibilities include conducting client consultations, developing mood boards and design concepts, selecting furnishings and finishes, and creating detailed floor plans and 3D visualizations. The designer oversees project execution, including budgeting, sourcing, scheduling, and site coordination, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. An understanding of Qatari lifestyle, spatial needs, and cultural sensitivities is essential.
This role supports the growing demand for luxury and personalized living environments in Qatar, blending creativity with practical design and project management skills.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in residential interior design or high-end home projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite).
Strong spatial planning, color theory, and materials knowledge.
Ability to develop and present mood boards, sample boards, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of furniture, textiles, lighting, and interior finishes.
Strong project coordination and client communication skills.
Language: Fluency in English; Arabic fluency is an advantage.
