Job Description:
We are hiring a City Sweeping Operator to perform street cleaning services across Seville. You will operate manual or motorized sweeping equipment to clear sidewalks, plazas, and public areas of debris, leaves, and litter. Your responsibilities include inspecting machinery before use, maintaining sweepers, and reporting faults immediately.
You will coordinate with public works teams to cover designated routes systematically and ensure public spaces are kept clean and safe. This role includes early morning or late-night shifts to minimise disruption to residents and pedestrians.
Job Requirement:
No formal education is required. Prior experience in street sweeping, sanitation, or outdoor cleaning is preferred. You must be physically fit and comfortable operating machinery or pushing manual sweepers.
Fluency in Spanish is essential. You should have a basic understanding of safety and traffic management around public areas. Punctuality and independence are essential, as is the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
