Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Backhoe Loader Operator for our civil construction and excavation teams in Dubai. The operator will be responsible for operating backhoe loaders to dig trenches, remove materials, load trucks, and support utility installations and roadworks.
Primary responsibilities include performing pre-shift equipment checks, safely maneuvering in confined workspaces, adjusting arm controls for excavation tasks, and following dig specifications based on project plans. The operator is expected to ensure machine stability on various surfaces, manage excavation depth and direction, and avoid contact with underground infrastructure.
The role also involves clearing debris, supporting backfilling operations, leveling surfaces, and transporting materials between site zones. The operator must maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the backhoe loader, including routine maintenance and timely reporting of any defects.
Communication with ground workers, adherence to job site safety protocols, and flexibility in supporting various site tasks are integral. This role may involve working during extended hours or in harsh weather to meet project deadlines.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience operating backhoe loaders on civil or infrastructure projects. A valid UAE heavy equipment operator license is essential. Applicants should have a solid understanding of excavation techniques, underground hazard awareness, and site safety rules. Strong coordination skills and mechanical knowledge of backhoe systems are also important for efficient and safe operation.
